A mountain biker for more than 20 years and on the professional mountain bike racing circuit for 15, Sue Haywood has scored plenty of wins including four national championships and a 24-hour solo racing World Championship. After a botched point-tallying process for the selection of the 2004 Olympic team left her out of the lineup in which she had earned a spot, she sued and won a civil case against USA Cycling. Today, she serves as a coach to younger riders from her home in the mountain biking mecca of Canaan Valley, West Virginia.
