With a lifetime of experience exploring the public lands of the southeast, Parham has relayed his wisdom to an eager audience with an exhaustive series of regional guidebooks. Perhaps most famous for his “Off the Beaten Track” series, which covers mountain biking trails and associated logistics in targeted areas throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic, Parham has also published numerous other titles with topics ranging from kid-friendly activities in the Smokies to road biking routes across the southeast and waterfall hikes of north Georgia. He lives in North Carolina near the edge of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
